Agents Against Cancer was a resounding success in Dallas on September 16–17, 2025, at The Nelson Golf & Sport Club! Agents, colleagues, and friends came together for two unforgettable days filled with golf, pickleball, and mahjong, while others indulged in wine tastings and rejuvenating spa experiences.
The celebration continued into the evening as guests gathered for dinner, where inspiring speakers took the stage and a spirited auction of one-of-a-kind packages and collectibles kept the energy high. With entertainment rounding out the night, the event was a true highlight, bringing the community together for an incredible cause!

WELCOME HAPPY HOUR
September 16, 2025
A lively welcome happy hour kicked off the day, where new faces mingled with familiar friends over drinks and bites, bringing together guests who had flown in from across the country and local attendees. Founder Jennifer Anderson, along with this year’s hosts, Mark and Kim Assaad, greeted everyone warmly, setting the tone for a day full of connection, laughter, and fun at the event.

GOLF, PICKLEBALL, AND MAHJONG
September 17, 2025
Golfers hit the greens for a spirited tournament, while lively pickleball matches and friendly mahjong games brought everyone together, each activity adding its own spirit of camaraderie and shared enjoyment. The golf foursome winners were Julian Michael Aguirre, Parker Kuncl, Jake Wurman, and Steve Pearson, with Jake Wurman also taking home the Closest to the Pin prize. On the pickleball courts, Angela Von Detten and Jason Chen claimed the victory. Meanwhile, mahjong offered fun for everyone, from seasoned players to those picking up new moves, all sharing in the friendly competition.

DINNER & LIVE AUCTION
September 17, 2025
Guests came together for a lively auction of unique packages and collectibles, plus entertainment that made the evening shine. Anna Couvrette brought energy and excitement to the auction, while Kevin Gehl and Kris Budden guided the program with warmth. Country artist Keller Cox delivered an unforgettable performance that kept the celebration going strong. Dr. Arthur Hong inspired with his powerful message on the fight against cancer, and Susie Swanson was honored for her remarkable dedication.
